Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding our products. This letter contains full details and information of the three styles of Girls/Ladies School/Sports Briefs we supply to sports clubs and organisations, schools and parents.

We supply three styles of "Magicfit" Briefs manufactured to the highest standard (all styles in superbly soft but strong 100% cotton interlock and one style in cotton/nylon lycra) to meet the demands of hard wear and comfort at school and by sporting teams today.

All Briefs are supplied in packs of THREE: same size and style per pack. You may choose any three colours. The price shown is per pack and any VAT, postage and packing charges are included in the price. We regret we do not supply single pairs and because of their intimate nature we are unable to accept the return of goods for whatever reason.

All payments must be made in full at the time of ordering and must be in Sterling : cash or postal orders/cheques drawn in favour of "Sussex Consultants." An acknowledgement of your order will be sent to you. Please allow up to four weeks for delivery. When ordering please use our Order form. When writing to us please remember to enclose a 1st class stamp for our reply.

Attached to this letter are ten illustrations (front and rear views) of the three styles of Briefs we supply as described on the following pages. In order to show the characteristics of the garments more clearly the images have been made lighter and appear in an unrecognisable shade: a picture showing navy blue Briefs would otherwise appear little more than a dark mass! The pictures of the cotton/nylon lycra briefs are a reasonable reproduction of the colours available.

All three styles are available in cotton in a permanently available range of colours which are: Navy Blue; Bottle Green; Maroon; Black; Grey; White; Red; Gold; Royal Blue.

The last three colours are bright and until now have generally been ordered by clubs and other organisations to be worn mainly for "team" events. However, with the passing of time these three colours have also become very popular with parents and girls and we are now increasingly supplying them for school and underwear.

One of the three styles is now also produced in cotton, Lycra and nylon, Lycra and the appropriate ranges of colours are dealt with in the pages that follow.

Two of the three styles we supply (Style "A" and Style "B") are available in sizes to fit small children right up to large adults.

The third style (Style "C"), produced in adult sizes only, is the more "traditional‑style regulation school/sports briefs" (featuring full, depth, double back panel and firm elasticated waist and elasticated cuffed legbands) which are still favoured by many adult ladies participating in outdoor team, sports.

Girls/Ladies School/Sports Briefs: Style "A"

These are full depth Briefs but are of a more modern day cut when compared to the more traditional Style "B". The Briefs have a seam down each side and across the rear of the crutch. To the eye they appear to be single, layer cloth throughout, but inside the Briefs the crutch area between the legs is reinforced with a double layer of the same colour cloth.

These Briefs have firm but cleverly concealed elasticised waist and leg bands: the elastic is not seen from the outside and is sewn into the modern narrower waist and leg bands. Whilst being of a modern day style with a slightly higher‑cut leg these Briefs are fully fitting and the elasticated legbands softly hug the wearer's legs all round ensuring modesty and total comfort. These Briefs are also available with the wider waistband the same as on Styles "B" & "C".

As with Style "B" not only are these Briefs robustly hard wearing they are most exceptionally snug fitting and very comfortable. Whilst these Briefs are worn by younger girls as daily school underwear their comfort makes them extremely popular with girls/ladies to wear under a short games skirt.

The new addition to our range are the cotton/Lycra and nylon/Lycra Briefs and these are proving to be very popular with ladies for sport and girls for daily school underwear: the design is exactly the same as for the cotton and they are available with either the narrow or wide waist. Unlike cotton Briefs these "give" with any movement and the wearer will experience a most comfortable fit.

In 100% cotton the permanently available range of nine colours are: Navy Blue; Bottle Green; Maroon; Black; Grey; White; Red; Yellow (gold); Royal Blue.

In cotton Lycra (illustration 9) the permanently available range of six colours are: (back row) Navy Blue, White, Black; (front row) Royal Blue, Red; Yellow (gold).

These are full depth generously cut Briefs with a seam down each side. They are single layer cloth with the exception of the crutch area between the legs which is double layered in the same colour cloth. These Briefs have a firm elasticated tunnelled waistband. The legbands consist of a wide cuff binding and are available elasticated or plain.

These Briefs are the modern‑day equivalent of the more "traditional style school/sport briefs." Not only are they hard wearing and robust they are extremely snug fitting and comfortable.

These Briefs are ideal when worn on their own for PE and look excellent when worn under a short games skirt.

These Briefs have proved increasingly popular with the parents of young girls (especially with the variety of colours available) and are often purchased simply for the purpose of hard wearing daily underwear.

The permanently available range of nine colours are: Navy Blue; Bottle Green; Maroon; Black; Grey; White; Red; Yellow (gold); Royal Blue.

These are the typical "traditional‑style regulation school knickers" that were worn by most girls from the 1950s through to the 1970s when school uniform requirements were considerably relaxed. Until the mid-late 1960s such Briefs were worn to school and also for PE, games and sports (though seldom with short games skirts). No longer worn by girls for school purposes these Briefs are still produced but are mainly for organisations, clubs and teams where they are favoured by adult ladies.

These Briefs are full depth and very generously‑cut (as with Style "B") and are produced in adult sizes only. They have double‑layered same colour cloth from the front of the crutch area, which goes through between the legs and opens into a wide panel that continues right up the back to the waist. The only seams to these Briefs are at the front of the crutch and either side of the back panel. These Briefs have a firm elasticated tunnelled waistband and firm cuffed elasticated legbands. These Briefs are full fitting and the legbands hold firmly in position. These Briefs are produced with the excesses and exertion of hard physical sport in mind.

Despite no longer being popular with schools, parents or girls these days, we can confirm that these Briefs are very soft to the touch, very snug, warm and extremely comfortable to wear. They look absolutely superb whether worn on their own or under a short games skirt.

The permanently available range of nine colours are: Navy Blue; Bottle Green; Maroon; Black; Grey; White; Red; Yellow (gold); Royal Blue.

This is a traditional leotard (superbly ideal for indoor gymnastics and ballet) and is available in both cotton‑Lycra and nylon‑Lycra in any of the colours as listed under "Style A". The leotard looks very smart in any of the shiny nylon‑Lycra materials and will be enjoyed by all those wearing one. A leotard in any of the cotton‑Lycra materials will be found to be the most comfortable to wear.

The bottom part of the leotard is exactly the same as the "Style A" Briefs, the cut of which provides for ample cover to the rear. The top part has a mildly elasticised neck (through which the garment is pulled on) and the ends of the half‑length sleeves are elasticised and gently hug the wearer in much the same way as the legs.
