Hi All,
Welcome to my Cell or should I say Ward?
Introductions first, I'm a 40 year old male from Sweden, who always has been interested in what I guess can best be described as "institutional bondage".
I get pleasure of playfully placing women in straitjackets, strapping them to beds or in chairs, or just to putting some cuffs and leg irons on them, then teasing them to madness!
BUT I also get satisfaction of being treated in the same way by the women, in fact if I has to make a choice, I probably prefer to be the "patient".
So, I'm a little kinky, well, perhaps not so little... ☺
For many years I thought that my "behaviour" was so bizarre that I must surely be the only one who liked things like this - how stupid I was!
I wasn't really interested in computers, so it was a couple of years ago that I first obtained one and started to use the internet. Very stupid of me to waited so long!
It wasn't long before I discovered lots of sites about bondage and The Institute in particular. It was a tremendous shock to me finding that there was so many people sharing my interests, in fact I couldn't sleep for four nights before I was able to calm down!
During my pre-internet years, I constructed all my "playing equipment" myself. In Sweden it is not easy to find the real, genuine institutional restraint equipment that I'm so interested in.
Building things is easy for me being a metal worker, and the company where I
work allows its employees to use the workshops resources for our own projects as
long
as it does not interfere with the normal production.
So I'm in the lucky position to be able to turn exciting ideas into reality, but one problem is that I have to do the work in complete secrecy, because no one near me knows about my "kinkiness"!
So I have had many nervous nights alone in the workshop, and so far I have been lucky.
I live in a constant fear that the wrong people will find out about my "abnormal behaviour". In Sweden it is strictly forbidden to restraint anyone unles you a member of the police or working in a mental hospital.
So, all loving couples that play bondage games are in fact breaking the law. No matter, if the man begs the woman to tie him up, if she does it she is breaking the law.
Perhaps it is the same in most other countries as well, I don't really know. Perhaps you can tell me?
Using the internet, I started to order real equipment (Humane and Segfix etc) and I have gathered quite an exciting and useful collection.
It always a very nervous wait though for the packages, since one can never know if they will pass trough the customs without problems. So far, I have been lucky again. :-)
There is onething that made me very sad though - the missing pictures of restraint beds and prisons.
These pictures had already gone when I first discovered the site, so =
I have never seen them. :-(
Speaking about pictures, I hope you like the following showing some of my playing equipment (restraintbed, chair etc). Some of them featuring myself during some kinky activities!
There are also some "historical" pictures that I have digitised from of old newspapers I have collected over the years.
These are very rare since pictures like these are seldom published in the public media, especially not in Sweden which is a real "hush-hush" country in this respect. :-(

Note the way the patents elbows are secured to the centre, rear of the jacket. Does anyone have a clearer picture of this make of jacket or this picture?

Info about the
video clip "The Cell" This is a little historical sequence that I have found on the Swedish Television News archive. It is a choking and touching document over how the care of the mentally ill could look like back in the 1940:s and 50:s. This rare film was probably taken inside one of the big mental hospitals that were present in Sweden in those days.The commentators voice is from a 1998 TV-program where this old film was used as one of the illustrations. For those who don't understand Swedish, here is a translation of what the voice says: "In the late 1940:s, there were no phsychopharmaca or other medicine that could lessen the agony of the mentally ill. Restraint belts, hydrotherapy, insulin and electro shocks were the order of the day, so the lobotomy was seen as an ideal solution. Some patients was indeed cured by lobotomy, on some it made no difference, and there were those who got worse, the scar in the brain lasted for the rest of their lives. Economy was also a main reason for doing a lobotomy, since the surgery often had a pacifying effect on the patients. Such patients were easier to handle, and that meant lesser work for the personnel." "Maximum security gag"
This little project may not be so easy for everyone to perform since it
requires some means to get the parts made.
You don't have to had access to a whole mechanical workshop as I have.
I'm sure your inventive mind will grasp what is needed and adapt
something. A little hobby lathe in the garage will suffice or if you
know somebody who is so equipped, and could help you.
The background for this was that I was after a real good simple ballgag
for long term wear.
I wanted a gag that was really secure while at the same time comfortable
enough to be worn for hours without becoming to much of a torture
device.
Since I had already bought much equipment from
MedicalToys, I studied their
product line, found a gag which looked promising, and ordered it.

This gag had a bridle of soft sewn leather going trough the ball and
then was riveted to sturdy leather straps with a locking buckle.
Unfortunately, I found that this gag was far to easy for the patient to
push out of the mouth buy using its tongue.
In order to prevent this, the straps had to be buckled so hard that they
produced terrible marks on the skin, and the gag quickly became very
torturous to wear - not good for long term wearing!
I identified the problem to be the amount of flex in the soft leather
bridle that passed through the ball..
Since I have paid quiet a lot of money for the gag, I decided to try
modify it rather than stop using it.
My idea was to replace the soft bridle with some sort of solid bar of
suitable length, in effect making a combination of a ball gag and a pony
bit gag.
I went of to the workshop and machined a bar of solid steel.

I drilled and threaded holes at both ends for screws to fasten the
leather straps.
I made the diameter of the bar slightly bigger than the hole in the
silicon ball, so it took some force to press on the ball onto the bar,
but once there it sat firmly in place.
For this bar I used an ordinary construction steel which can rust, so it
seemed advisable to give it a lining of black plastic tape, I think that
it looked nicer too.
But if one would like to feel cold steel against the cheeks, I guess the
bar could have been made of stainless steel instead, maybe I try that
someday.
Then I just screwed the leather straps in place, and there it was, my
new "Maximum security gag"!

Trying out this one I realised that it was a success.
To put it on, it should be pushed as far as it can go into the patients
mouth.
Then the straps should be buckled to the closest notch, BUT they should
not be pulled so hard!
Since there are no flex in the bar, nor in the straps the patient can't
push this one out of the mouth.
Since the bar holds the straps off the skin a little, they do not
produce such aggressive marks on the skin, so its more comfortable and
secure!
The security can be increased further by fastening the straps to the bar
more permanently with some suitable rivets instead of screws.
A while later I ordered one more gag from MedicalToys, a model they
called a "medical theme gag".
This too had that soft leather bridle, so I decided to make a similar
modification to that one too.
This time however, I made the bar of white plastic which I machined to a
very high surface finish.
Here I fastened the straps with simple screws for wood, and this became
one of the most good looking, sexy and most comfortable gags I have ever
tried, it quickly became my favourite.

If I had to be gaged myself, I would definitely prefer wearing this one!
On the above pictures (16 & 17) depicting the Seguf1x belts, I can be
seen wearing this gag.
With a gag of this design, the patient just have to wear until the
doctor or nurse decides otherwise! :-)
Ok, perhaps I may have done all the above job unnecessarily if gags of
this design could already be bought somewhere, but I haven't found one.
