Heetkamp
Heetkamp in Holland makes a variety of restraints with the aim of preventing self harm
and undressing. All items are all available in a range of sizes to cover females
and males, youth to full adult. Bespoke options are encouraged at extra cost.
Many of the restraints mirror those made by Segufix in design although
changes are evident e.g. the method of cuff padding.
Heetkamp have two designs of button lock to prevent unauthorised removal of
the restraints. Both consist of a pin to pass through eyeleted strapping and a
button head. The first and oldest design uses a two pronged key inserted into
the top of the button to unlock it and three pin lengths are available to accommodate
different thickness of strapping. A magnetic button lock using a similar
pin system is also available. This latter item uses a sideways application of
the magnetic key against the button to unlock it.
Heetkamp offer a coverall with a list of options including closed arms and
legs, front or rear zip both of which can be made locking to prevent undressing,
hiding of contraband or interference with sanitary protection.
A sleep sack is available. The patient is secured within the sack by a
waist strap and locking full length front zip. If required further restriction
can be applied by using wrist cuffs fitted to the two loops either side of the
waist strap.
To prevent a patient getting out of bed an interesting open bed restraint
jacket is available with a locking crotch strap to prevent the occupant
wriggling out.
 Arm corsets are unique
as far as I know to Heetkamp. Made of leather and laced their full
length they are designed to impede the wearer by
totally stopping both arms from bending at the elbow. Worn under a jumpsuit, for example they
are a discreet and very disabling restraint which if applied correctly can not be removed
unaided by the patient.
Anti-rip Smock. Used where modesty is required and where ripping of clothing
is a problem.
Heetkamp also make a straight jacket of an unusual build there are no under arm or
 chest
loops as standard to prevent the patient from lifting his or her arms over their
head. There is no arm strap only loops at the sleeve ends. However with a little
imagination a central pass thro strap can be attached and the arm loops can also
likewise be secured. The main body of the garment locks on and the crotch strap
is also lockable. A short sleeved jacket and a version without a crotch strap
are available.
The traditional full bed restraint set built to a very similar design and
efficiency to that of Segufix. With the the full set as shown here 7 point
fixing is achieved.
Finally, most elements can be purchased as one offs including cuffs, waist
belts and connecting straps. At present I am unsure of the exact position of
leather versions but I am seeking more information. Do you have any info on the
leather items?????

If you contact Heetkamp please remember they are a medical supplier and not a
maker of toys plus you will need to speak Dutch as they have little English!

If you are interested in purchasing via a third party, try a good friend of
this site Harry Tasker. He is based in Germany so if in Europe the transaction
is relatively simple and I am pleased to say for the quality of goods, cheap. Please mention this
