After removing the
two lower mattress sections and the supporting insert, the whole of the top
half can be slid forward.
The metal rod
frame just visible in the opining is understood to hold a tray which is
missing. Can anyone help in supplying details of what it was like or better
still supply one? |

The whole of the
top can be tilted back using two release catches under the head end. A strut
is fitted to smooth the action.
Two stirrups with
antistatic rubber covers are supplied.
The straps shown
are not original but understood to be close approximations. Can anyone help
in supplying details of what they were originally like or better still
supply copies? |

mounting (on right).
Round socket with
locking knob. Does anyone know what they are for? Both the stirrups and drip
stand we have do not fit. One of these sockets can be found on on the other
side of the opening - see above
Sean 2/5/04 I think that the round socket
with locking knobs are for a "pull up bar" for the patient to hold onto
during labour... also known as a squatting bar... but I am not 100% sure
about that... good luck... blessings
Can anyone
confirm Sean's opinion and if so what shape/height would it have been?
